How Do I Fulfill My Life Purpose?

At a certain point in the journey of life, a lot of us begin to accept that there may, in fact, be a plan for us, that a higher power has a job for us to do during our time here in the physical world. The task before us may seem astronomical and unachievable if we could see the whole plan and the mission for us to accomplish. It is for this reason that you will only be given snippets of the plan, smaller parts of a bigger mission. Your resolve and fortitude will be tested. Will you continue with the plan without knowing the outcome? Will you stop holding back or will you tuck tail and run at the first sign or trouble, when things aren’t going the way you think they should go? And if you run, what exactly are you running to?  Do you even know or are you just afraid?  Afraid of standing out. Terrified by the idea that you may, in fact, have no choice but to fulfill this mission. That it may not actually be up to you. That this was all decided for you by your higher power. That every time you try exert some measure of control back into your life, things just seem go sideways on you.

Have you never asked yourself why that is? What would happen, I wonder, if you stopped trying to control the outcome of every little thing in your life that is irrelevant? What would happen if you stopped overthinking how and when everything is going to play out? What would happen if you just accepted that you’re not really in control of anything, you just think you are?  Can you allow yourself to be open to the notion that you are exactly where you should be right now? That this is a process and you don’t need to know where the finish line is or even if there is one? Can you accept and allow things to unfold the way they need to or will you keep getting in the way, making a mess of things, stopping the unfoldment process of your own life purpose your mission?  Can you give up trying to control everything and take a moment and do absolutely nothing but accept and allow?

Many of us have this idea, this program, that we need to go to our goals. That in order to get anything done, you have to put in years of work to achieve it. What if you didn’t? What if by putting in all this time, years of work, it was actually taking longer? What if all you needed to do was stop thinking about it, to just get out of the way of your own thoughts, your own need to control and force that thing into being? Can you allow yourself to accept, that in order to fulfill your life purpose, that the more you try and force it, control it and manipulate it to be what you want it to be or what you think it should be, the longer it will take? Just because someone told you that this is how it’s done in order to be successful and achieve your life purpose, you need to work hard and do all these things just like they did and many years later, you can have what they have, too doesn’t mean there isn’t a easier way.

I invite you to challenge this belief that you have to work hard to create the things you want to create in your life, to challenge the misconceptions that fulfilling your life purpose is supposed to be hard, difficult, even painful, when the reality is that this can be a simple process if you focus on what’s right in front of you. Put your intention and focus on that one thing that your higher power has just revealed to you. Don’t worry or fret about all the other things that need to be done to get to what you think is the finish line. Just do this one thing and only this one thing. Then and only then, do you move onto the next thing. Keep it simple, go slow and accept and allow the information to come to you when you’re ready for it. Don’t worry about why it’s not working yet. Only focus on the task at hand, the one thing your higher power wants you to work on and create. Then wait for the next piece of the puzzle and as you continue down this path of accepting and allowing of just letting the pieces of the puzzle come to you and not rushing towards them, only then will your life purpose, your mission be made manifest and come into fruition in its entirety. But will you stop trying so hard to control the outcome and seeing the whole mission before you even completed step one? The choice is yours at how long this all takes. I hope you make the correct one.
